Weird how now this is brought to people’s attention. I tried bitching about jobs a year ago. 2 years ago. 3-4-5 years ago, and people just laugh. I feel like once the entitled university kids of this generation realized that they have to pay off a debt, they took it upon themselves to protest, and otherwise how else are the poor going to get noticed when they are working 2-3 jobs just to stay in the same damn place, still hungry, can’t waste a bunch of money on school, have mouths to feed, etc etc etcc. But money=power, and if those university kids weren’t bitching you know damn well this wouldn’t have gotten media attention - lord knows the anarchists have been taking the streets for a while without this attention, arguing the same shit.
I’ve had pictures of people throwing molotov cocktails at cop cars on my dashboard since i made this tumblr

I’m not trying to be a dick, but being in university doesn’t give me any privilege or give me any more pull in something others are fighting for.  I’ll admit there are people who have jumped on this bandwagon, but if it’s any one group of people you are going to single out, I wouldn’t single out any people who are trying to do something they believe in.
Just so you know, I’m in college and I am poor as fuck.  But, whether I’m in college or not, I still know where I came from and I still know how hard it is for people to live in a society where money is everything.
And lack of jobs has been a problem since before we were in high school.  But, out of anyone, someone with no experience is more likely to get a shitty job and work their way up to an okay job then someone who has worked at a factory, or has gone to school to get a degree.  You just have to keep trying and you can’t blame your unemployment on anyone but yourself.  Just because it’s a problem does not mean it has to continue being a problem.
I am not an expert on anarchists, but at least my friends that associated themselves with this spoke mostly about staying under the radar, out of the media.

Apparently my tumblr is still alive while I’ve been too busy to live!
